Dear Friends and Family,
I am excited to announce that I will be running my first marathon this Sunday, October 4!
I will be running the Twin Cities marathon and hope you will join me in celebrating this personal milestone by supporting one of my other passions – the Latino community. As many of you are aware, I am a GALEO board member and have been actively involved with GALEO for over seven years. I am proud of all that GALEO has accomplished in Georgia and I look forward to continuing to play a key role in all the work yet to come. Your financial support will allow us to continue to educate and engage our community and to develop future Latino leaders in order to create a thriving community for all.
I have attempted to run a marathon over the last four years, but each time my training was interrupted due to various injuries. As usual, I am recovering from a recent injury, but this time I was able to complete all of the key training, so after a week and a half of rest and recovery, I am going to go for it! I have to admit that I am nervous about the possibility of failing so publicly, but that is the risk you take when you decide to go “All In!”.
All financial contributions are welcomed and tax deductible - donations can be submitted below.
